Frequently Asked Questions

My order is a gift for someone; will paperwork / invoice details be included?

We send all orders without paper invoices. Instead we send them with order confirmation to the purchaser via email.

I've sent my parcel to the wrong address...

Please double check that you have the right address BEFORE confirming your order. If you do realise that you've added the wrong address please contact us immediately. If we're contacted before the parcel is dispatched, we can make changes, however if the parcel is already in the postal system there is unfortunately nothing we can do.

How long does it take for my order to be dispatched?

We aim to dispatch all orders placed on a weekday within 24 hours, unless discussed otherwise. (i.e customer has requested dispatch for a certain day) Orders placed on a weekend will usually be posted on the Monday.

How long does delivery take / what is the cost of P&P?

Unfortunately Royal Mail prices are at an all time high;

£3.99- Royal mail 1st Class between 1-2 working days

£3.00 - Royal mail 2nd Class between 3-4 working days

* Please note some deliveries may take a couple of days extra due to RM strikes, or at busy times such as Christmas/ Easter.

On rare occasions we may need to split larger orders into 2 separate parcels.

What forms of payment are accepted / when am I charged for my order?

We accept payment via Paypal and the majority of major debit & credit cards. If you phone our store with an order, payments can also be taken over the phone.
Your card is debited when you checkout, this allows us to dispatch items as promptly as possible.

My order arrived damaged, what should I do?

Whilst we take great care in packaging your order, we understand the postal system isn’t always gentle with all parcels. If your order arrives damaged please contact us with photos via email thechocolatespa@outlook.com or telephone our shop 07928597794 and quote your order reference number.

How long do the boxed chocolates last?

The vast majority of our products (unless stated otherwise that they have a short date) have at least a shelf life of 3 months from delivery.

Where should I store the chocolates until they’re ready to be eaten?

Simply store chocolates in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. A spare room or cupboard is ideal. Please do not refrigerate as this can cause chocolates to ‘bloom’. This makes them appear white and whilst it doesn’t harm the taste, it spoils the aesthetic look of the product.
